Monty is the most adventurist person I know when it comes to poetry. He posts so many poems in so many different styles, I hardly know how he can keep them all straight! But they are all so well done!!
My personal favourite is the Golden Shovel. I’m not sure why it’s called this, but I can bet that Monty probably told us in his first post, but I either wasn’t paying attention (totally possible) or have forgotten.
If you want to also take part, just hop on over to Monty’s blog and check out the rules and all the other information that you need. Basically, he gives you some inspiration and then you write your own poem using each word in his inspiration as the last word per line in your own poem. It’s great!
