As a follow-up to yesterday’s post, Belle was my second favourite princess growing up. Another classic Disney movie which was played many many times in my house.
The intrigue of having to trade my life for the freedom of a loved one was something that my young mind really gravitated to. I was, and still am, a very dramatic person. And who wouldn’t want to live in a castle full of talking objects and that MASSIVE library? I mean, come on!
The library…YES! Surrounded by talkers…no so much.

Oh I liked Beauty and the Beast! It was my son’s first movie he went to in a theater when he was about 2.5 years old. You always wonder how your child will behave for the first time in such a setting, but he was captivated by it all and did sit through the whole movie!

Oh that’s awesome! I would be very anxious taking a child that young but so happy he sat through it!! Thats amazing!

When Belle reversed the curse and all of the talking and singing household items and furniture turned back into people… Does that mean they were all now living in an empty castle? Did they have to schedule an upcoming trip to Ikea?

😅😅😅 well no, cos the castle would have been furnished before the curse so those objects would have still existed? Right?

Or did they get rid of all those old furnishings since the talking furniture now represented having two of everything? Lol

Or MAYBE they all just got stashed in the attics?

Belle was pretty chill about living in a castle full of talking objects, which is a testament to her bravery or foolhardiness, I don’t know which.
