GF now has 3 doses of the covid fighting stuff!

And is currently at home and not at work…

For my first two doses I didn’t have much of a reaction. Just the day after the first one I felt nauseous and that was it. Pfizer for both.

Last night I got my booster, and it was moderna. And it HURT so much! The needle going in and out, the dose being pushed in. I felt it all!!! My arm hurt when I was leaving 15 mins later but by bedtime it was starting to loosen up a bit.

And today I woke up totally fine!! I got out of bed, and took the 5 steps to my bedro door and then BAM the worst headache I have ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE! It felt like there was a vice grip on my head and someone was pushing my eyes in with their thumbs! My vision was teary abd blurry, I didn’t feel secure standing up.

So I had to stay home from work. Its 1:30pm now and I’m feeling a lot better. I took medicine at 6:30 and laid in bed organizing my teaching team while waiting for my principal to reply to my email. By the time she did I had the whole day covered by my EAs and I was able to spent the morning laying in bed.

Thankfully I’m better now. The headache has wakened to a slight dull pain. So I’m hoping I will be able to go to work tomorrow.

My brother is coming over tonight for dinner and birthday cake since his birthday is next week. I’m happy I’ll get to see him! I’m trying to get monthly sibling dinners set up. Just us time and not his fiancee. But I have to also conceed and have “3 of us” plans too… but here look at his cake

    • Haha I hope so toooo! I’ve already emailed my principal asking if I’m allowed back at work tomorrow.

I’m hoping to focus my energy on my relationship with my brother. I don’t like her so I have been avoiding plans with them. It hasnt been too difficult since its always last minute things so I say no, but my brother doesnt like the feeling that I’m not interested in them as a couple. And its just that I’m not interested in her haha so I agreed to all of us plans. I hope they are few and far between

  1. Haha I either had to have someone drop off the 20lbs of books I would need to teach from home and then take them all back on Monday or just go in. And my students NEED the in person. So I’m going in. Our health and safety manager has approved it! Yay!

  2. I’m glad you’re feeling better! I got the same shots as you: Pfizer first, Moderna booster. I felt fine after my booster (just a sore arm and tired) but one of my friends got hit pretty hard with side effects after hers.
