A Twitter experiment.

A fellow blogger and I were talking on Twitter this weekend. She had mentioned that she wrote something about sex in response to a tweet and then she got all the messages that women usually get that they never want.

So I suggested an experiment.

Was it just because she posted a reply about sex? What if there is no context to the mention of sex?

So Saturday we both posted a tweet that said nothing more than “#sex” and waited.

I got no replies haha

I think my Twitter presence isn’t big enough to facilitate such an experiment. And I am pretty sure she had no response either.

Kind of a let down honestly. I was hoping for some sort of hilarious or outrageous thing to share. But alas, I have nothing. This is also kind of good because I took a break from dating apps because I just could not look at one more unsolicited dick pic without going insane!

  1. Really? They actually do send dick pix? What makes them think we care about looking at random ones? That’s so weird. Guys have no idea. I get a lot of men following on instagram who try to strike up conversations – it’s amazing how many American soldiers are lonely, lol.
