I don’t know what number this is….
Peeps and Meeps – most of you know that I have one brother. He’s just over a year older than me (15 months and 2 days but who is counting) and as we have progressed into adulthood, we have become really close and almost like bestest friends. We share the same humour most of the time and our conversations can get VERY sassy and bratty. But I always know that he will tell it to be straight and without sugar coating it. Sometimes that’s a good thing, sometimes not so much. Last night I needed a blunt opinion so I went straight to him:

I’m super amazed at his response to my question, he’s grown so much as a person and I’m so proud of him!! Maybe the new lady in his life is having a good affect on him? Like obviously she is, she’s the first since high school who he has actually wanted to start something with. But let’s keep this blog about me and not my brother who is turning all gushy over a girl and it’s weird but adorable to see because the roles are usually reversed where I’m gushing about a guy and he’s all “mmmhmm that’s nice”. Ps: Day 19 of my 100-days for Jesus/no relationships or boys. WOOT!
Great conversation! I don’t have any brothers, just three sisters. I agree, those shorts are not too short and I have the same problem that you do with the middle stuff.

I have a very bad thought process about my legs lol I’m starting to like them more though. Slowly! From about age 13-24 I never wore shorts or dresses. Even in the summer. Lately I have been branching out into some sun dresses and some shorts. But all need to be at my knee. I haven’t had any above the knee since like 13…. so this was a struggle for me. I didn’t realize they were so short when I ordered them but I think I can get used to them! 🙂
My picture makes it look like I’ve lost weight I think. I never keep track. I’m going to throw in some ab work outs after school is done. I’ll have lots of free time so might as well do some crunches lol!

Everyone needs this kind of straight-shooter in their lives! I couldn’t imagine what my brother would say if I asked for his opinion on something like this. Yous a lucky gal. 🙂

Thank you Rob 😉 After wearing them for a while I started to like them a little bit more. I think I just need to get used to them. And blow up my exercise ball to work on some crunches LOL

It’s nice that you have such a good relationship with your brother!
And I like how you say Worcestershire! 😂 My husband has spent the past four years trying to teach me how to say it properly and I still can’t do it… The British like to skip entire syllables! Worcestershire sounds like ‘wore-steh-sher’?!

Yes – we say it the same lol but I refuse to spell it correctly when “Wor-random letters for as long as I want – shire” does the trick lol

In Quebec, we pretty much pronounces it the way you spelled it! 😂 Hence, my family is very entertained by my husband’s pronunciation when we visit and they make him repeat it over and over… Bless him!

HAHA! My specific family basically says it how I type it. Or at least I do. Throw in random letters and sounds. Everyone knows what I’m talking about anyway haha!
That is so sweet of your husband to indulge your family!! I was connected to a guy from Philly for a bit and he would say things weird “dah-ta” not “day-ta” etc. I’d make him say things over and over lol but he wouldn’t respond unless I “corrected” my pronunciation (which is another word we said differently lol)

Aww, that’s actually quite cute! My husband often makes me repeat stuff… but I’m not sure if it’s because he thinks I say things in a cute way or because my accent is shit! 😂 Though I’m getting better at speaking ‘British’, or at least using the ‘right’ British words.

You look fine, T. And I agree with your brother, if you feel comfortable shouldn’t matter what anyone else thinks.
Had a thought the other day, you do know that your 100 days with Jesus and not other men means you are so gong to meet Mister Right next week?! That’s Murphy at work 😉
And I am a mix of Ocker Aussie and British. So I would be “wore-steh-sheer” and “dah-ta”.

LOL yes I had the same thought! That since there are no other men I’m going to meet my person 😂 I’ve already chosen two husbands from queer eye as you know lol! But also know that he’ll understand and wait until August 31st lol
I love how certain words can be pronounced differently lol especially with different accents haha! So adorable
