Every day, Vivian had the same routine: she would get up, have breakfast, cut some fresh flowers from her garden to place in the window, and then spend the day tending to her vast gardens in her backyard.
Today was no different for Vivian. She made a cup of ginger tea, and a plate of toast with blueberry jam. She read her morning paper as she ate on the patio. Vivian took her dishes into the house, tossed the old flowers into the compost, and washed up the vase her mother had given her as a young girl.
“Every proper lady needs a proper crystal vase,” she would always say.
Vivian headed out to the garden and decided today she wanted roses. She cut a pretty trio of blooms and headed back into the house.
Filling the vase up with water, Vivian placed the roses on the windowsill. She turned to go back out in the garden. As she did, Vivian slipped on some water on the floor. Hitting her head off the counter, Vivian fell to the floor without even hearing her neck snap from the force of her forehead connecting with the marble edge.
Her body on the floor, Vivian’s ghost stood up, straightened her shirt from the fall, and headed out to deal with those pesky weeds taking over her dahlias.

I had just added it to a grocery order I was placing ππ literally opened the jar this morning! Itβs a nice change from my regular strawberry. Iβve been having a lot of toast for breakfast lately so I gotta mix it up lol

That would be lovely, to just get up and continue doing what you love. I had been afraid she was going to break the vase.

Ah, yes. Or the girl who lived in the bathroom. Well, I guess she didn’t go on like always unless she always hung out in bathrooms.
