Nail Art Sunday: Llama Drama

So I did something that might not be good: I bought a whole bunch of new things and tested them all at once, in one video. Plus, llamas!

I have been having a little bit of an issue lately with my nail polish. I had to stop wearing gloves at work because I started to develop contact dermatius – which is just a fancy way of saying my skin was getting super irritated that it was in gloves all the time and I was getting a little bit of a rash. I went to my doctor and he gave me a cream and said that it would go away but I found out that if I was wearing gloves then it wouldn’t completely heal. I ditched the gloves and have been washing without them since Christmas. But that means that I am lotioning a lot.

With all of this bare-handed washing, my nails have been getting super bad. Like my nails are soft and breaking and ripping and my polish will always chip within a day or two. When I saw a product at my local pharmacy that claimed to give you 2-weeks of wear, I decided to give it a chance. It’s called a bonder. It’s a base coat that is specially designed to give your polishes a longer life.

Then, since testing out one new product wasn’t enough, I also bought two new colours last weekend. A red and a coppery gold. AND THEN if that wasn’t enough, I also got a new stamping plate! It has cute designs like a donut and a pineapple. I showed it to 2nd at work and she said I needed to use the llama.

So, if you’re one of those people who like to watch my 20-minute videos of me doing my nails, this one is a little different. It still has the random chit-chat and the gossip that I normally inject into my videos, but it also has the unboxing of the bonder and a little bit of a review of the product. I’m going to have to wait to see how the actual product holds up to my lifestyle. But fingers crossed!

And, just for fun, here’s a picture of my llama.

    • I love it too!! So pretty! And when I was testing the colours at home before the mancure, it peeled off a plastic baggie perfectly! Which is important now because I make stickers that need to peel haha
