Y’all have been waiting for it since Friday, a whole day of waiting, so here’s what ya need!
If you read this post on Friday, you would know that I was going to a potluck and asking what other people bring to potlucks because I don’t feel like I ever know what to bring. I was making a taco dip, and then I got to the event and it wasn’t a potluck. I was the only one who brought something! But whatever, dude! I made food. I would have felt more awkward if I would have arrived with nothing and everyone else had brought something.
It’s so easy, and super easy to change depending on your dietary needs/preferences. This is what I used:

plus some orange and yellow peppers but I forgot them in the fridge and by the time I remembered I was like half done making it so, again, whatevers dude!
Okies, so I made a pretty large pan of it so I used a brick of cream cheese and a large container of plain greek yogurt. You can use sour cream instead of the greek yogurt, or a mixture of the two, but I was trying to be a little bit healthier. Put those two into a bowl and mix together. I used a hand blender because I’m lazy and I’m not going to try to blend cream cheese into anything by hand. Then my personal additive is to take a package of taco seasoning (I used low sodium because the chips are gonna add a lot of salt) and blend that in there too! The person I stole this from never used taco seasoning. That’s just me.
Then spread into the pan like so:
Next up, get to chopping!! Use whatever veggies you like. I kept it simple and used green onions, Roma tomatoes (because I personally feel they have less water content. I scooped out the seeds to keep it as dry as possible) and half of a yellow and orange pepper. Since I had bought Tostitos Scoops for this, I chopped everything up nice and small. Then just throw all that on top of the dairy mix.
Finally, cheese! Grate it, sprinkle it, ya done!
Legit, that’s it. Grab some chips and ravage that beast!
I eat it cold, but you can most definitely heat it up! I’d say like 350 for 10ish minutes? Probably less? Just to get the cheese all gooey and melty.
You can also change it up, add salsa or guac if you like. I had like 1/3 of the tray left over from my Bible study so I ate it for dinner tonight. Not all of it, but a lot of it. I cooked up some chicken and threw it in to make it more of a “meal”. Gotta have that protein! I was going to add avocado but my stupid avocado decided that it was going to feel ready but not actually be ready. What a lying waste!
Anyway, that’s what I made, and how I made it!
Sounds yummy! I’m sure I’ve had something similar with taco meat too but I could just be making that up because I lurve tacos!!

It was yummy!! And I love that I can’t tell the difference between the yogurt and the cream cheese haha! And I think that I decided on it because I had picked up a taco kit to make for dinner this weekend and then the next day I found out about this meal so I guess it was still on my mind haha

I’ve had something very similar and it was yummy (and just for fun, to translate, green onion = spring onion, yellow and orange pepper = capsicum)
