Celebrating Love

Can we all just take a second to celebrate how awesome love is?

Today is my parent’s 33rd wedding anniversary and I’d just like to send out all the love to them. Their kind of relationship is one that I hope to find in my future partner. They really love each other. Some days they might not like each other but the love is there. They haven’t had the perfect marriage but they have modeled what it takes to have one that lasts through life’s ups and downs and I am truly blessed to have them as an example.

Perhaps its fitting then that, after a week of not taking care of my manicure, I set out to peel off my cracked and chipped polish and only one nail was left undamaged with no edges lifted for me to pull off. I think I’ll just leave it for as long as it decides to stay undamaged.
