He’s the man.
Well maybe not. I don’t really know much about him other than the fact that he’s the author of my favourite quote. If you’re one of the lucky two or three who has my personal email, you’ll have seen this quote at the bottom because it’s been my email signature for about 8 years. Totally funny story: I was emailing the lady who was making my mom’s birthday cake and she thought the signature was what I wanted to be written ON the cake so she wrote it all out…and her hands were stained blue for a few days hehe.
I found it when I was looking for a thank you card for a professor during my last semester of university. I actually didn’t have to go to the winter semester because I had all my credits to graduate, but my favourite professor was teaching a class I hadn’t taken so I enrolled in literally just that one class. It was twice a week starting at 830am and I missed about half the classes because I had to work on one of those mornings but the professor knew me from the last 4 years so it was ok with her. She was an amazing woman and a fantastic professor. I honestly wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t encountered her.
Anyway, that’s not the point! I can really ramble when I’m just set free can’t I?!
Here is the quote:
I try to both live around those types of people but also to be one of those people.
