2017 Advent Calendar Day 23

It’s time to crack open your advent calendars at home, and it’s time for the 2nd annual No Love For Fatties Advent Calendar.

Last year, I focused on music, and this year I’m going to focus on movies. I know – totally generic but whatever. I love Christmas movies!! And more so, the classics, the originals, the super obscure ones that I grew up watching on old VHS that we taped from the tv (yeah we totally did – don’t pretend you didn’t either!). Each day, there will be a post featuring a new movie that I enjoy watching. Maybe next year I’ll do something a little more original

Please note: there will be LOTS of gifs used so if you find them annoying, you have been warned.

Today’s movie is not a movie at all. It’s kind of an off-shoot of yesterday.

I kind of love the old school Disney clips – just like the compilation that I posted yesterday. But today is a little more specific.

Neither of these are “Christmas” ones, but definitely winter themed.

The first, Donald Duck’s ice hockey, is Donald playing hockey with his nephews. It’s just a cute little hockey short from 1939. Who doesn’t love hockey?

The next, which is my all-time favourite! It’s from 1942 and is Donald Duck’s snowball fight. It’s spectacular! Sometimes I kind of feel bad for old Donald and how he is treated by those three little ducks, but ya know what, in the end, he actually kind of deserves it.

I hope you have enjoyed yourself on this journey into some of my favourite Christmas movies and tv movies and random things that I like. There is just one more day left and I can’t wait to share my most favourite Christmas movie OF ALL EXISTENCE with you tomorrow. I love it, I love it, I love it.
