Song a Day: Day 2

The musical adventure continues!

If you missed my post yesterday, here are the important details for this post

Amazing blogger Sandra, over at What Sandra Thinks has challenged me to do this song a day thing for five days. And do it I shall!

So the rules:

Post a song a day for five consecutive days
Post the name of the song and video
Post what the lyrics mean to you (optional)
Nominate two different bloggers each day of the challenge

Sandra also gave me the rule of no Backstreet Boys, so I will strive to live up to that.

In order to keep the universe being mad at me and not at my dearest Sandra, I will not be nominating any other bloggers. 😉 I’ll take the hit Sandra!

I started yesterday off with Etta James, a solid selection for my kidlets at work. It was calm and jazzy. Since they aren’t ones to really sit and listen to calm and jazzy for too long, we quickly switched it up to a more contemporary song.

This gave 4th something to listen to, and to sing to because she knew the words (how cute!) and for me to dance around the kitchen to while packing up lunches for the high school students.
