This is your life

January 11 This is your life If you could read a book containing all that has happened and will ever happen in your life, would you? If you choose to read it, you must read it cover to cover

Looking back on yesterday, YES I would most definitely read it just to avoid the utter frustration that I had all day at work. Even this morning, looking back on everything, if I had a heads up about yesterday that would have been amazing. I still have a little bit of residual frustration left over it.

But in the grander scheme of things, I really don’t think I would read this book. I most certainly would not want to relive the mistakes of my past by reading them in print. It might give an insight into why certain things happened though – like why a certain group of friends just decided one day that I was no longer welcome around them. That incident hurt, and I still have no idea why it happened, but we all move on from these things.

I don’t know if I’d want to know my future – I actually love being surprised by what life has to offer me and what it throws my way. I enjoy just experiencing life for what it is. I think that reading this book would ruin the little bit of magic that is left in the world for adults.

What do you think? Would you read a book all about your life?
