Unfortunately, this post isn’t about kicking anyone… but let me tell you! I have a list 😉 Don’t worry, none of you are on it. This post is about another kind of list though, a bucket list.
Do you have a bucket list? I don’t. I guess the main attraction of them is that they are just goals all written down – what you want to accomplish or experience in life. If I had a bucket list, it would probably just a list of every city I want to travel to in the world, plus maybe skydiving and bungee jumping.
I’ve never taken the time to actually write a bucket list. I’ve never seen the appeal. But I do love lists. This morning I sat down and made a to-do list for today. I don’t have to be back at work until the 9th so I have lots of time to fill. I want to go to an art gallery or a museum or something this week, but I need to watch the finances. It’s raining today so I had already planned on staying home. Maybe, later today if I have time to start my knitting, I’ll watch “The Bucket List” on Netflix…
My to-do list was 20 items long, and I’ve already started/finished 5 of them. Some things will be easy to complete like dusting. I’ll get to that later. Some have a few parts: like charging/updating my iPad. It had to charge first before I can update. Then I have yoga on my list too, can’t do yoga until my iPad is charged and updated. Some things have a time issue attached to the task. I want to do my laundry, but right now is a peak time energy wise which means it costs more to use the large appliances. So I have to wait about an hour before I start that which puts me into the “moderate” time.
I’ve started making soup, finished my French lesson, starting my blogging stuff, and a few others. It’ll be a busy busy day. Of course, some things probably didn’t have to go on the list, but since I have a tendency to forget the mundane, they had to go on the list (shave legs? Yeah, I know TMI but I will forget!)
Do you have a bucket list? What’s on it?
