Everywhere but here!
Last night I posted about walking how to softly falling snow. How beautiful it was *deep loving sigh*. So this morning I was excited to wake up and see what had transpired outside whilst I was asleep!
I first checked my emails and Facebook before my trial class at 7:30 (which was a no-show…) and found out that buses in the school board where my parents live were cancelled. This is common in the winter. But it made me even more excited! I still hadn’t looked out the window yet.
I teach my class at 8am, which went great. The boy was super smart. Then I check my phone….an email from my mom with pictures! I text my dad to see if snowmageddon had actually happened. He was predicting lots and lots of snow over night.
I read my mom’s email. The dogs were almost buried in snow this morning! Her photos:
That’s my little chubchubs struggling through the snow. Remember this is just one night of snow for them. Oh, it’s so loverly!
Dad replied, his estimate is 15cms (6inches for you American’s reading). Still snowing. He then emailed this picture of the front of the house. Notice in front of their car, the pile of snow at the end of the driveway right at the road. Winter in Huron County is the best.
I then proceed to go to my bedroom to take a picture of my backyard through the window…
A little bit disappointing don’t ya think?! haha I know I say this now, and only because it’s my day off and I don’t have to go outside at all in the cold.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – Frank Sinatra. Because Frank has the skills
Let it Snow – Dean Martin. A fitting song for today! Couldn’t have planned that out any better hehe
