Hangang River

Since I have a whole 16 days left in my apartment, I decided that this weekend I needed to get out and start checking things off my to-do list! The first being a trip to Han River.

If you’ve been a follower of my blog for any length of time longer than a month, I’m sure you’ve seen me mention Han River a few times. In the middle of September I was suppose to go there with a co-worker but was sick and had to turn back home once I got to the final subway stop. How disappointing!

Well today I finally made it! It was beautiful out today! 22 degrees, sunny, a nice breeze. Perfection! Hangang River is a beautiful place to spend such a beautiful day. It was a little windier there than in Jakjeon but that’s because you are right at the water. I was going to rent a bike but decided last minute against it. I walked around, got a great photo for Instagram and spent about an hour just taking it all in. Here are a few of my pictures from the afternoon:

After spending a nice little time at the Han River, I made one final trip to Itaewon. I have really enjoyed shopping there over the past year and took the opportunity to get a new winter coat. It may seem a little silly buying such an item here, but getting a winter coat and a new pair of jeans was silly less money than a really ugly “early winter, not yet -20” coat from Canada haha.

All in all it turned out to be great last trip into Seoul. I won’t have time to get back there before I head home. I am glad that I was able to make the trip and check two things off my to-do list!
