The other day I was talking to my co-worker and instead of saying air conditioner, I said AirCon. Which is what the Korean’s call it. She laughed at me and said I was turning Korean. Which is highly possible – I think I have finally reached the last step (aside from actually being born Korean)
I was shopping on the weekend with a friend of mine and we went into a cosmetics shop. Remember that story about me being completely oblivious? Feel free to read about that here.
Well in that shop, I was looking around at some lipsticks and I settled on one. It’s not a lipstick, it’s a tint. And it’s not a light pretty colour like I would normally wear (on the 3 days out of the year that I would wear lipstick). Noooo it’s like a HOT PINK. It’s called “pink soda” and it tastes super yummy. Do you find that a lot of Western brands of lipstick taste like whale blubber?
I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my new choice in lip colour, and have been told that it’s a very “Korean” colour. Definitely not something that I would wear in Canada. But since I’m here, I might as well rock it.
Since we’re all friends here, lets take a look at my lips shall we? If you’re keeping track, I’ve posted my eyes, nose, now my mouth…you could technically piece them together to find out what I look like. But if you’re REALLY that interested, send me a private email, I’ll hook you up.
Here are my lips au natural. I’m not sure why one side is up higher than the rest….it’s like it has it’s own little sassy attitude. MAYBE this lip raise is where all my attitude comes from? Science yes?
Now for my lovely, pink soda lips.
Still the little bit of attitude on the one side. My phone’s camera didn’t really capture the hot pinkness of it all, but daaauuuummmm – look how luscious they look! I’m impressed with myself.
