I know the first step in overcoming addiction is to acknowledge it. So, Giggling Followers, I am acknowledging my addiction.
I am addicted to pinning cross stitch patterns on Pinterest. I literally can spend HOURS just looking through all the patterns, saving them for “later”. I’m like a virtual hoarder, and I can’t stop! I don’t want to stop!! They are all so freaking CUTE!
I saved some screen grabs last night for ya’ll to show my addiction. Since then, I have saved roughly 5-10 more cross stitch patterns so the numbers are a little bit off.
Here are how many pins I have in total:
Then cross stitch (only cross stitch, I have other boards for knitting/yarn, crafts, school projects, art class etc.)
That 1,030 is a little off as well. Not only because I added to it this morning (I couldn’t help myself! There were hippo ones!) So some of those pins, you can take like 5 pins to make one pattern. Like this:
And then, there are ones where you click the link and its an entire webpage of free patterns!! I have different styles of alphabet letters, baby patterns, Christmas, Easter, months of the year, horoscope signs, Disney, Avengers, pillow patterns, “subversive” patterns, gnomes, hippos, Harry Potter, fairy tales, animals, wall hangings, bookmarks, blankets, birth records, greeting cards….
You name it, I’ve probably saved it! I love cross stitch and I love the patterns. One day, I hope to print the patterns and then keep them in a pattern book. As if I’m ever going to have the time to print and organize all these pins! It would take me FOREVER.
Maybe I should start making some of these and open an etsy store or something HAHA! Put my addiction to good use.
