#atozchallenge – Jerusalem

From Eastern Europe to the Middle East today. I’m adding Jerusalem to my travel bucket list.

I’m specifically not going to list Jerusalem as the capital city of a country for sensitivity reasons. As a person with degrees in both politics and religion, I find it hard to take sides on the Jerusalem subject. I’ve written papers on it, studied it, taken classes dedicated specifically to the boundaries around Israel and Palestine. As a Christian, I feel ties to the city. I wouldn’t call my wanting to go there a pilgrimage though. But this blog, and especially this post, is not the place to hash out all that. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy some pictures of a truly beautiful and historically relevant city.

    • Lol I’m not sure there is anything wrong with you? Some places in the world I think are so beautiful and in theory I want to see it in person but in reality I have no desire to actually go there.
