Songdo Central Park

On Saturday, I went out of Incheon to see the dentist. I knew that I would be in the area of Central Park so I took my camera along. It was a cold and bleh day but at least I have some photos to show for the trip! I even found a small handful of cherry blossoms. Here are a select few of the photographs I kept after my editing phase.

The shopping mall where my dentist is located is about 5 city blocks long. She’s in the “winter” section. Each section had its own special decorations. This is winter:

In the park:

Three of the attractions of the park: the triple bowl (you can go all the way up to the top but it was blocked off yesterday), the bridge, and the global face post (has 120 different faces carved into it to represent different countries)

These three little guys intrigued me. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get up close to them. But I did later on in my walk!

FINALLY! Blossoms!

It would have been better with a bright blue sky, but beggars can’t be choosers!

A rowdy group of kids had just gone down this pathway. Thankfully they were showering each other in blossoms and I was able to get the pretty effect of freshly fallen petals.

They have these cute little cars for kids to ride around in. I saw one little boy with sunglasses looking all fly as he drove up a hill.

I found them again!!

Seriously, Korea confuses me sometimes. I’m guessing it’s a fountain and when the water is turned on, then all 3 men and the dog spray water? They look very mischievous so I didn’t want to stand in front just in case it was motion activated (that is exactly what I would have done if I made this sculpture)
