300 Thursday: Beach Day

Sudden Shifts

You’re at the beach with some friends and/or family, enjoying the sun, nibbling on some watermelon. All of a sudden, within seconds, the weather shifts and hail starts descending from the sky. Write a post about what happens next.

Alright folks, I have a confession: I had actually considered not answering this prompt. But then I said to myself “T, you have already changed your Friending February rules twice. You broke them within the first 5 days. You need to answer this prompt! You made a promise to yourself so do it!” I was very convincing and I put myself to shame. So I came up with a way to satisfy myself in not answering it, and a way to satisfy myself in answering it – are you still following?

First, let’s talk about why I didn’t want to answer this prompt. I don’t go to the beach. I hate the beach. It has nothing to do with me being a giggling fattie. I can rock a tankini like nobody’s business! I had this cute little bathing suit, where the bottom of the tankini was like a little skirt. OMG adrobs! I can rock it. It took me a long time to be able to rock it, but don’t worry I gots this now.

I hate the beach because I’m a ginger. I burn way toooo easily. I wear SPF60, reapply every 45 minutes (literally) and STILL look like a lobster fresh from a pot of boiling water. It’s not fun! While I do love the soothing feeling of pressurized aloe it’s not worth it. Instead of finishing the story given, I decided to give you pictures about gingers! I just did a basic search on google. I don’t own any of these pictures.

Last week, the munchkins pet my eyebrows……
