Sultry Ralph Fiennes – 300 Thursday

Voice Work

Your blog is about to be recorded into an audiobook. If you could choose anyone — from your grandma to Samuel L. Jackson — to narrate your posts, who would it be?

Alright ya’ll, let’s not pretend to that this post could have been about anybody else. For reals! A huge thank you to The Daily Post and their prompt, for allowing me to write about my one true hollywood crush.

If you have been a follower of this blog for a little bit, you know of my love for Ralph Fiennes. If you need a refresher, please hop on over to my post about 5 celebrities and take a little read. However, since this is a 300 Thursday post, I’ll keep my gushing brief.

Who would I want to narrate my posts? Ralph Fiennes – 100%! *swoons* his voice is so Britishly sexy. Check him out speaking about his movie The Invisible Woman.

Now I understand the irony here. He’s speaking about how the attention around celebrities can be intrusive and all that, and how it makes him uncomfortable. But he is hands down my favourite actor, so I hope he’ll indulge me.

But I disagree with him on one point: I think even today, it’s ok for younger women to date older men. I think it’s ingrained in our society, almost expected, that women will always date an older man. However, dating a younger man kind of puts a woman out there into controversy (6 months is cradle robbing?!) BUT if he wants to make a point of it, I’m 28, he’s 53 – let’s be unconventional together 😉

Just for fun, check out this video on his top 10 performances. Even though they left out my favourite, Onegin, I will forgive them 🙂

This post brought to you by The Daily Post, 300 Thursdays, and Friending February.
