It must be award season!

WOW guys! Seriously – I have been without my regular routine of blogging and interacting and then I finally get my ipad set up on free starbucks wifi and SHA-BAM I have like a kabillion award notifications. So first of all, THANK YOU all so much! It really means a lot to me! In an attempt to limit the number of posts I would have to put out today to get around to all these amazing people, I’ve decided to combine them all together and hopefully all the positive feels will radiate out from one giant post! SO here it goes

Epically Awesome Award: I was nominated by both Joana and David for this award.

The Real Neat Blog Award: A shout-out to Stephanie for this one! Is it Stephanie? Or Stephany? Sorry if I got that wrong!

Lastly, but certainly not least, a fellow “giggling fattie” Merry Moon bestowed the honor of the Creative Blogger Award.

WOW!! Just a big freaking W-O-W! When I started this blog it wasn’t even meant to be seen by anyone and now look at all the emotions. My overly caffeinated heart can’t take all the feels!

Now for the questions posed by all the awards:

Joana and David: Let me tell you why I’m awesome, and try not to sound like a conceited person. I AM AWESOME!! You are awesome! We are all awesome. I kind of feel like I should be Oprah right now and instead of telling people they are getting cars, it’s that they are awesome. I decided to embrace my awesomeness a few years ago after I was tired of looking to others to validate me. Just being yourself and loving yourself makes you awesome, it makes me awesome.

I think every day that I write this blog I am being creative. Lately though, I’ve been doing some colouring in one of those new adult colouring books? My favourite artist is the book I’m working on right now, the Enchanted Forest. She just released “Lost Ocean” and I can’t wait to get it!

Stephanie: If I could travel anywhere in time, I really have no idea where I would go!! Maybe like the 1950’s, I love the music and the clothes but I would hate being a woman then. Maybe my early 20’s to fix some mistakes I wish I hadn’t made? That’s a tough one!

Right now I am reading “The Prince and the Pauper” by Mark Twain. I just started it yesterday. If my TV could play only one tv show: hands down Bluestone 42. I never get tired of it! Or Downton Abbey. Rebel Wilson would play me in a movie about my life. If I win the lotto, I’m paying off my student debts first! If I didn’t have to work, I’d be traveling and/or teaching. Smartphones may or may not be dumbing down society. But I do think they are making us all a whole lot lazier!

Merry Moon Child: I am a person who can make friends really easily, and I can be friendly with a lot of people. But I only call a small few my true friends. I like to say that I am a leader, but really I am a follower. I will step up when I have to, but I do prefer to just take a step back and follow sometimes. I think part of it is because, as a woman, when I have jumped into the leadership roles before I’ve been called bossy and a bitch. I hate that and would just rather let someone else have to deal with it. One thing that I really hope never changes about me is my positive attitude. I’m really chill and I really hate being angry or negative. There is always something to be happy about and I will find it! Even if I have to create it myself by just throwing some glitter into the air — oooo look glitter!! best day ever!

Phew! That was a marathon of info! But again, I am so grateful for all of these wonderful people who have noticed my blog. Most of the awards ask you to nominate fellow bloggers and ask them questions and stuff. Since I combined 4 nominations into one post, here is what I propose. I seriously love all the blogs that I follow, go to my home page to check out a list of them. Feel free to pop over to any and all of them. I really can’t single out just a few, I would feel SO bad about it! BUT — if you are reading this, and you feel like my answers have made you happy, enraged, giggle, sad – whatever. Tell me why. Answer a few of the questions yourself in the comment section below, or send me a private message through my “ask me anything” section. Click the links above to view the original nominations and to read the original questions.

I love you all – and you seriously made it rain glitter on my day!
